18th Century Market Faire
March 28th-30th, 2025
Join us for our annual 18th Century Market Faire! Bring the whole family to get a glimpse of life in post revolutionary Georgia where we'll have historical artisans, dancing, and black powder demonstrations.

Robert Burns Event

Burns Night is an annual celebration of Scotland’s most famous poet – a man called Robert Burns. You no doubt may have heard (or even sang!) ‘Auld Lang Syne’ when ringing in the New Year? That was written by ‘Rabbie’ Burns. Today he is honored with the title ‘Scotland’s national poet.'

This month we will be covering all of the different ways that fire was used and depended on in the 18th century! We will be demonstrating fire starting skills, cooking implements, lighting and even how it was used in our 18th century ammunitions.

This month we will be covering all of the different ways that apples were used in the 18th century!

Meet up with some of our historians as they do various demos and answer questions about the 18th Century!
This month we will be discussing all things corn! Come and make corn husk dolls and see how corn was ground in the early days before factories and big box stores.
We will also be celebrating the signing of the Treaty of Paris whereby Great Britain formally recognized the United States as a separate and independent nation.
